Thanks to collaboration with our friends at the City of Bloomington Parks & Recreation and the Town of Normal Parks & Recreation, our Outdoor Pool Pass program has been expanded and revamped into the new Poolside Perks! Now you can purchase a season pool pass at an exclusive rate not just for the O'Neil Aquatics Center and Holiday Pool, but for the Anderson Aquatic Center and Karraker Aquatic Center as well!  City of Bloomington Parks & Recreation and Town of Normal Parks & Recreation season pool passes are sold separately.  Have fun in the sun across the Bloomington-Normal Community this summer; passes go on sale starting February 14th!

Please note that after you've completed your pool pass purchase with the YMCA, there are additional steps in order to redeem with the City of Bloomington. In order to receive your pool pass, you are required to create an ActiveNet account with the City of Bloomington and you must present a receipt of your purchase to the City of Bloomington in-person. Please note that after you've completed your pool pass purchase with the YMCA, there are additional steps in order to redeem with the Town of Normal. Stop by the Town of Normal's Parks and Recreation Department (100 E Phoenix Avenue, Normal, IL) with a copy of your receipt during their office hours (Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.) to redeem your pool pass.

 

How do I collect my Pool Pass after I purchase it from the Y (Bloomington Pools)?

Once you've purchased your Pool Pass AND set up your ActiveNet account with the City of Bloomington and added all of the family members who have a pass to that account, you can bring your receipt to The Hub, located on the 1st Floor of the Government Center, 115 E. Washington St., Bloomington.  From there, the discount will be applied and your pass will be distributed. There is NO deadline for picking up your pool pass, as long as it falls within the 2025 season.

ALREADY HAVE AN ACTIVENET ACCOUNT?
  • If you've purchased a Bloomington Aquatics Season Pool Pass before, you already have an ActiveNet account. 
  • Be sure your ActiveNet profile information (name, address, etc.) matches your Bloomington-Normal YMCA member profile information.
VIEW TERMS AND CONDITIONS (BLOOMINGTON POOLS)
  • Individual Youth Memberships cannot participate in this promotion.

  • Pool passes are non-transferable.

  • Pool passes are sold per individual, not household.

  • Per the YMCA’s Best Practices and Terms and Conditions of Membership, those represented on my Household Membership must reside in my permanent residence. I cannot add an individual that does not reside in my household to purchase a pool pass. 

  • My YMCA membership must remain active through the end of the pool season to be eligible for this promotion.

  • If I cancel my YMCA membership before the term date, I will be automatically charged the difference between the full price of the pool pass and the YMCA's promotional pricing.

  • I must create an online account through the City of Bloomington prior to receiving my pool pass from the City of Bloomington.

  • I must provide a receipt for each pool pass purchased through the YMCA to the City of Bloomington to receive my pool passes.

  • This promotion is not eligible for additional discounts.

  • Nationwide Members are not eligible for this promotion.
