Get ready to build, test, and taste your way through an exciting week of hands on discovery at Edible Engineers! This all-day camp challenges campers to think like real engineers as they construct towering pasta creations, experiment with different food's structural capabilities, and design edible structures strong enough to protect their eggs from destruction! Through creative problem solving, teamwork, and plenty of trial and error, campers will explore basic engineering and science concepts in a fun, engaging (and sometimes delicious!) way. It’s the perfect recipe for a week full of innovation, curiosity, and unforgettable fun.

Camp Location: Bloomington-Normal YMCA

 

Cost: $260/member  |  $520/nonmember

Time each day: 8:30a - 4:30p

This camp is for youth in grades K-2nd.

 

Registration opens March 6th for YMCA members & April 6th for nonmembers

Deposit: $50

Registration fee: $25 until April 5th, $50 April 6th and after

Cost: Members $260 | Nonmembers $520

Cancellation Policy

Specialty Camp deposits and registration fees are non-refundable. Specialty Camp cancellations must be submitted via a written request to the Youth Development department at camps@bnymca.org no later than 7 days before the start of the specialty camp week. Cancellation requests received the Monday or Tuesday before the start of the specialty camp week are subject to be charged, but will receive a system credit. If less than 5 days notice of cancellation is given, no refund or system credit will be issued. By signing up for this YMCA Specialty Camp, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of our Cancellation Policy.
