Y on the Fly is mobile aquatics platform that extends the Bloomington-Normal YMCA’s mission directly into neighborhoods, residential communities, and commercial aquatic facilities.
Rather than requiring families to travel to the branch, the Bloomington-Normal YMCA brings certified instructors, nationally recognized curriculum, and safety programming directly to where people swim.

Completing the intake form does not guarantee service. Once your intake form is complete, a safety audit will be performed at your residence before services are rendered.
Private Lessons
Includes four lessons, 1 per week for individual instruction.
Member Cost: $160/month
Nonmember Cost: $320/month
Semi Private Lessons
Includes four lessons, 1 per week, per individual. Up to 3 participants.
Member Cost: $90/month
Nonmember Cost: $160/month
Adaptive Lessons
Lessons are priced individually, per lesson, per child.

Neighborhood Safety Training
Hosting a Neighborhood Safety Training will prepare your neighborhood to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and infants. An American Red Cross certified YMCA instructor comes to YOU!
CPR Certification Cost: $100/person
Safety Education Only: $100/event
*Water Safety Education is included in your CPR certification cost.
