Meet Certified Pilates Instructor Erin Beneze!
Erin Beneze brings a unique and extensive background to her Pilates instruction. With a BFA in Contemporary Dance from the North Carolina School of the Arts, Erin enjoyed a decade-long professional dance career in Los Angeles and New York City. She became a certified Pilates instructor in 2010, under renowned teacher Marie Jose Blom. Over the past 15 years, Erin has dedicated herself to sharing the benefits of Pilates, working with hundreds of clients in private sessions and leading numerous mat and reformer classes in LA, NYC and the Bay Area. Her experience includes serving as the in-house Pilates instructor for Cirque du Soleil's Iris in Los Angeles, training VIP clients at the Bowery Hotel in NYC, and training with Westside Dance Medicine, physical therapists for the NYC Ballet. After starting her own family, Erin deepened her expertise by earning a certification in pre and post-natal Pilates from Jennifer Gianni of Fusion Pilates. In 2023, she returned to the Midwest where she enjoys running her own studio, Prairie Pilates and sharing her love of Pilates with the amazing students at the YMCA.
