The Illinois Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) makes it possible for families and guardians who qualify to receive financial help. The program pays for child care costs so you can work, attend training, or school. (Illinois Cares for Kids, 2025).
CCRRN Stands for Child Care Resource and Referral Network. CCRRN is a financial support option for families who qualify. The BN-YMCA accepts CCRRN for three childcare programs: Y Pals, School Break Days and YMCA Summer Camp.
Only the CCRRN or Site Provider can calculate the Total Monthly Income that will be used for determining eligibility for the program. Find your local Child Care Resource and Referral agency (CCRRN) or call 1-877-202-4453 (toll free). The Bloomington-Normal YMCA does not determine eligibility or monthly copays required to attend the programming.
Please contact your local Child Care Resource and Referral agency to learn more about the application process and items needed to apply for this program. Applications for the program can also be found here!

Yes, there is a registration fee that is collected upon registering for programming. If you qualify for funding from the CCAP program, our team will review this charge and make refunds as necessary.
This is determined on a case by case basis and will be reflected in your approval letter from the CCRRN.
Please reach out to your local CCRRN and complete the process listed above for the Bloomington Normal YMCA.
