Join us for a 90-minute interactive Nutrition 101 workshop designed to take the confusion out of healthy eating! Whether you're just beginning your wellness journey or looking to refresh your nutrition knowledge, this workshop will break down the basics of what your body needs to feel energized, perform well, and thrive.
We’ll explore the four key components of nutrition—carbohydrates, protein, healthy fats, and water—and learn what each one does for the body, where to find them, and why they all have a place in a balanced diet. We’ll also dive into portion sizes and serving sizes, including simple ways to estimate portions without having to measure or weigh every food you eat.
Workshop Details
Participants will take part in an interactive Build-a-Balanced-Plate activity, where you'll put your knowledge into practice by creating a balanced meal using carbohydrates, protein, vegetables/fruits, healthy fats, and hydration. We'll discuss different meal options, make healthy swaps, and learn how small changes can make a big difference.
