Y Tots & Talk is a welcoming program designed for parents and toddlers ages 12–36 months to grow, learn, and connect together. Each session begins with a fun and engaging guided activity that encourages bonding, play, and early development. Parents and toddlers participate together, creating meaningful shared experiences in a supportive environment.

After activity time, toddlers transition into supervised care with YMCA staff while parents participate in a relaxed discussion group. These parent sessions provide a comfortable space to connect with other caregivers, share experiences, and take part in meaningful conversations led by a facilitator. Topics focus on toddler development, parenting, and self-care.

Cost: $15 for Members | $20 for Nonmembers

Program meets every other Thursday from 3p.m - 4:30 p.m. | June 28th - August 13th

CANCELLATION POLICY

If the participant needs to cancel their registration for any reason, request for program cancellation must be submitted via a written request to the Youth Development department at youthdevelopment@bnymca.org before the Thursday prior to the session start-date in order to avoid the remaining charges for the upcoming monthly program. Cancellations received on or after the Thursday prior to the start of the session, but before the start of the program session, will be given a system credit for the program cost excluding the deposit.

Cancellations after the start date of the program will not receive a refund for the cost of the program.

The YMCA is able to cancel and reschedule any monthly sessions as they see necessary. Prior notification will be provided to participants and/or guardians of participants as soon as the YMCA is able to communicate any necessary cancellations. Refunds or system credits will be provided for any sessions cancelled by the YMCA.
