SHIRK SPORT CENTER

Attire At The Y

Athletic shoes and clothing must be worn in the Sport Center.
A shirt covering the abdomen must be worn at all times.
Shirts with offensive messages, including but not limited to references to drugs, guns, alcohol, or profanity are not permitted.

Youth Use:

Children ages 8-11 are allowed in the Sport Center with a parent or guardian in the facility.
Children ages 12+ may participate without a parent or guardian in the facility.

Sport Center Policies

Only YMCA staff are permitted to enter the Sport Center storage room.
All equipment must be put back in its designated place or given to the front desk or gym monitor after use.
YMCA owned equipment must be returned undamaged.
Dunking is not permitted.
Swearing or foul language is not permitted.
Food is not permitted in the Sport Center. Food may be consumed in the lobby area.
Drinks in a shatter-proof container with a lid are permitted.
Dispose of all trash in trash receptacles.
Video and photographs are not permitted.
Use of speakers are not permitted in the Sport Center unless provided for YMCA Programming.
