GETTING BACK ON THE HARDWOOD
This is a game-only league consisting of two 20-minute halves. There will be a running clock until the final two minutes. Each team will play one game per night. A shirt is not provided, but it's encouraged that teams wear the same color. Referees will be present for all games.
The summer season has a capacity of 6 teams. Once the teams have reached capacity, players may only register to join an existing team or be assigned to one as a free agent.
Registration must be completed over the phone or in-person at the Bloomington-Normal YMCA.

LEAGUE STRUCTURE:

SUMMER 2026 DETAILS:
League runs Wednesday, July 1st to Wednesday, August 12th
Games will take place on Wednesday evenings from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Building a Team
Select a team captain and build your dream team! If you don't have an organized team, no worries! You will be placed on the waitlist at the time of sign up and will only be charged for the league if you're placed on an active team.

Full Team Registration Window: May 25 - June 10
All members of a team MUST register and pay their registration fee in full within the two-week registration window to secure their spot on that team.
Free Agent Registration Window: June 11 - June 24
Free agent registration will remain open for the full two-week window or until capacity is reached. Free agents will be placed on a team based on roster availability and overall balance on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Late Registration Window: June 25 - June 30
If slots are still available in the league after Free Agent Registration ends, late registration will be available at an increased price.

The YMCA will never deny services due to financial hardship. The YMCA is able to provide reduced rates on membership and programs to those who qualify through our Financial Support program.
